Privacy policy

This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to the information you send through this site. The short version: it is used to answer you and to prepare your consultation — and nothing else.

Data controller

What is collected

The data collected depends on how you contact us:

• Through the contact form: your first name, your phone number, your email address (if you choose to provide it), the subject you select (love reconciliation, energetic purification, or other), and the message you write. The form also collects a honeypot field to filter automated submissions — this field is never stored if it is filled.
• Through WhatsApp or SMS: your phone number (provided by WhatsApp or your mobile carrier), the content of your messages, and any photographs, audio notes or documents you send voluntarily.
• By phone: your phone number (if it is not withheld) and, with your express agreement, a voice note used solely to prepare the consultation.
• By email: your email address and the full content of the exchange.
• Through audience measurement (only if you accept cookies): pages visited, duration of the visit, type of device, browser and approximate country. No name or email is ever associated with these statistics. The tool used is Google Analytics 4, operated with IP anonymisation enabled and without advertising features.

No sensitive data in the legal sense (health data, religious or philosophical beliefs, biometric data) is collected through this website. If you choose to share information of that nature during a consultation, it is treated with the same confidentiality as all other consultation content.

Your details are never sold, rented or shared with a third party for commercial or advertising purposes.

Sub-processors

The following companies process data on behalf of Ruben T. Lawrence, strictly within the scope defined above:

• Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, CA, USA) — website hosting and contact form collection. Privacy policy.
• Google LLC (Mountain View, CA, USA) — audience analytics (Google Analytics 4, used only with your consent and with IP anonymisation). Privacy policy. Data is processed in the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. (Menlo Park, CA, USA) — WhatsApp messaging, when you initiate contact through the WhatsApp button. WhatsApp applies its own privacy policy to those communications.
• Google LLC — Gmail, used to manage email correspondence sent to ruben.t.lawrence@proton.me.

How long your data is kept

• Contact requests with no follow-up: deleted within 90 days if no consultation takes place.
• Active client records: kept for the duration of the relationship and for up to 24 months after the last consultation, to allow for follow-up questions.
• Photographs, voice notes and documents relating to a consultation: deleted on request as soon as the work is finished, or automatically within 12 months of the last exchange.
• Email and WhatsApp threads: kept for up to 12 months after the last message, then permanently deleted.
• Google Analytics data: retained for 14 months on Google's servers (the retention period set in this account), then automatically deleted.

Confidentiality of consultations

Everything shared during a consultation — names, situations, questions, documents — is treated as strictly confidential and is never disclosed to any third party. Testimonials published on this site were collected with the express agreement of the persons concerned, who consented to the use of their first name only. No testimonial contains any identifying information about a third party.

Cookies and trackers

The site uses the following categories of cookies:

• Strictly necessary cookies: these are set without your consent. They include a cookie that stores your cookie-banner choice (cookie_consent, expires after 365 days) and a session cookie used by Netlify's form protection (_netlify_ prefix, session duration only). They cannot be disabled without breaking core site functionality.
• Analytics cookies (consent required): Google Analytics 4 sets _ga (2 years), _ga_XXXXXXXXXX (2 years) and _gid (24 hours). These are only deposited after you accept the banner. Declining the banner has no effect on the service you receive.

No advertising, retargeting or social-network cookies are ever set by this site. Your consent choice is stored in your browser and can be reset at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain, or by writing to us.

Your rights

Under applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the data held about you and receive a copy.
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erase data that is no longer necessary or that you object to (right to be forgotten).
• Restrict processing while a dispute is pending.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent (analytics), without affecting the lawfulness of any prior processing.
• Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

To exercise any of these rights, write to ruben.t.lawrence@proton.me with the subject line "Privacy request". Requests are answered within 30 days. Identity verification may be required before a request is fulfilled.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a resident of California, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA): the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To submit a verifiable consumer request, write to ruben.t.lawrence@proton.me or call +1 646 349 1401. We will respond within 45 days.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS (TLS 1.3 via Netlify's CDN). Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and are accessible only to Ruben T. Lawrence. Email correspondence is handled through Gmail, which provides encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted by default.

Despite these measures, no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You transmit information to this site at your own risk. If you believe your data has been compromised, notify us immediately at ruben.t.lawrence@proton.me.

Children

This site and the services offered on it are intended solely for persons aged 18 and over. No data is knowingly collected from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a minor has submitted a contact request, the data will be deleted immediately.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in the services or in applicable law. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
